Reporting

On March 19–21, 2025, Laura Loomer published an exclusive identifying Paula Oakes of Roslindale, Massachusetts, as a Wellesley Public Schools music / violin teacher and as organizer of a Boston “Tesla Takedown” / “I didn’t vote for Elon” protest. Loomer attributed to Oakes — as admin of the Facebook page “Pro-Democracy Project” / “The pro-Democracy Project” — a post that included the line “I am not resorting to arson just yet” (with a grin emoji), while announcing the Sunday protest.

That exclusive ran on Loomered and was reprinted by CBNC. The same identification and quote appear in Loomer’s contemporaneous X posts:

Fact

Opinion

The following is commentary by this site. It is not a finding of fact and not a legal conclusion.

A public-school teacher joking about arson — “not yet” — while organizing dealership protests is reckless. Parents send kids to school for music, not for that tone. Unfit for the classroom trust that job needs. Say it plain: the words, as reported, are a problem. That take does not invent a fire, a charge, or an arrest.
